Merry Christmas!

Parents & SGLs,

What a year it has been with Covid-19 and moving everything online! A lot of people have called it a disastrous year and, in certain regards, it really has been as we saw a lot of Covid-19 related deaths and having to distance ourselves from our family, friends, and church! Yet, in the midst of this pandemic, God never changed. He still brought about good things. In record time, a vaccine was created, tested, and rolled out.

As we reflect on this past year, we definitely have a lot to be thankful for, ministerially and personally. In ministry, we saw God’s faithfulness as we continued to meet online. It was difficult and everyone is zoomed out, but we saw God’s faithfulness and love modeled through our small group leader’s unwavering commitment to our youth group and to their small group of teenagers who went above and beyond to try to meet and keep in contact with the teens in their group. We saw our student leaders grow to love, care, and remember the members in our youth group as they got creative in figuring out how. Under the direction of our student leaders, we created an instagram account to keep our teens connected as best as we could! We have always wanted to have parents step in to lead teenagers and we did this year! Our Middle school Sunday school was taught by a team of ALL parents (Jennifer, Sharon, Genie, and Peter)! Praise God for these leaders, student leaders, and parents.

We hope you will create great memories with your teenagers this Christmas. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!
